Rakes and Shovels Volunteer Recruitment
Special Event
Come learn about Rakes and Shovels Volunteer Opportunities! Provide free leaf-raking and snow-shoveling services for senior citizens and community members with disabilities. Register yourself, your roommates/household, or your organization to be volunteers! After registering, you will be matched with a resident who has requested help. If you feel like raking leaves, we're expecting you to find a group who can assist you (unless you like raking by yourself). The COSAS has rakes for check out in TSC 316A. If you feel like shoveling snow, you're signing up for a commitment to a resident for the duration of the snowy season. Your matched resident will have your name and phone number on a card, and they will call you when they need help this winter. Questions? Email cosas@usu.edu or call 435-797-1740.
Blood Battle USU vs Weber State
Special Event
The annual Blood Battle is back! By donating blood to benefit the American Red Cross, you can help USU defend the title as Blood Battle champion over Weber State. American Red Cross teams will be available September 3rd-6th from 9am-6pm in the TSC International Lounge. Go to redcrossblood.org and type ZIP code 84322 or the sponsor code BLEEDBLUE to schedule your donation time.
