USU is focusing on reducing our carbon emissions - focusing on energy is the easiest way to do this. 

Greenhouse Gas Steering Committee
After the faculty resolution of Net Zero by 2040, President Cockett formed a steering committee and three sub-committees to provide formal recommendations and cost estimates. This group collaborated with USU Facilities to develop USU's Greenhouse Gas Reduction Plan. 

There is still lots of work to be done. USU needs to reduce emissions by 10% each year until neutrality based on our 2018 baseline.

Carbon Offset Fund
