Café Rio Donation

In activities prior to the planned memorial service at Utah State University, a local business has offered support to the university.

Café Rio Mexican Grill is holding a grand opening event Tuesday, Nov. 1, from 11:30-1:30 p.m. to benefit the Utah State students affected by the Sept. 26 van accident. Café Rio will donate $2,500 to the Ag Technology Memorial Scholarship.

To celebrate the grand opening of the Logan restaurant, Café Rio will offer free food from 11:30-1:30 p.m. and encourages patrons to donate to the scholarship fund. Café Rio will match all donations made to the fund and present a check to President Stan Albrecht and First Lady Joyce Albrecht.

"Utah State University appreciates the Café Rio family for its kindness and generosity," said Cody Bingham, College of Agriculture senator.

Café Rio is located at 1460 N. Main Street in Logan.
