Utah State University hosted its fifth-annual Start By Believing Day on April 6. As a part of the event, pledge booths were available on USU’s Logan, Price and Blanding campuses for students, staff, faculty and other community members to take a pledge to Start by Believing and support survivors when they disclose an experience of sexual assault. In partnership with End Violence Against Women International, the pledge encourages people to make a commitment to: start by believing when someone tells you they were sexually assaulted; support survivors on the road to justice and healing; and help end the silence.
