New Survey Launched by UWLP to Assess Utahns' Perceptions
UWLP invites Utahns to take its fall survey that will allow A Bolder Way Forward leaders to see what progress has been made in the past year.
Moving Mountains for Utah Women.
The mission of the Utah Women & Leadership Project (UWLP) is to strengthen the impact of Utah girls and women. We serve Utah and its residents by 1) producing relevant, trustworthy, and applicable research; 2) creating and gathering valuable resources; and 3) convening trainings and events that inform, inspire, and ignite growth and change for all Utahns. The UWLP was founded in 2009 by Dr. Susan R. Madsen, who leads this work as part of her faculty position at Utah State University.
The Status of Women Leaders in Utah Business: A 2024 Update
Researchers pulled information from 2,032 companies which comprised the initial population for the study. Of the 70 companies with CEOs, only 9.6% were women.
UWLP Launches New Male Allyship Discussion Series
This male allyship discussion series is aimed at helping support efforts of A Bolder Way Forward, a statewide movement to help more girls and women in Utah thrive.

Promoting Civility and Dignity in Utah
We invite community members, leaders, and advocates to join us for an engaging panel dedicated to fostering civility and dignity across Utah. Civility and dignity are overarching topics important to A Bolder Way Forward (BWF). The BWF aims to inspire Utahns to engage in civil discourse and make meaningful connections across differences. To do this, we encourage Utahn’s across the state to focus on active listening, empathy, and respectful communication, which will pave the way for creating positive change in Utah.
