Free Group Fitness Classes

Have you wanted to try group fitness classes but didn't get around to buying the semester pass? Well now is your chance! Starting April 15th and going until the 26th, all group fitness classes through Campus Recreation will be FREE! Try classes like High Fitness, Yoga, Dynamic Conditioning, Weightlifting, Surge and more! MFA Thesis Exhibition: After the Bloom and Squaring the Circle

Ashton Keen and Carter Pasma are ceramic Master of Fine Arts of Fine Arts graduate students in the Department of Art + Design. Ashton’s thesis exhibition, After the Bloom, and Carter’s thesis exhibition, Squaring the Circle, showcase their impressive and diverse ceramic work. Throughout their program, fine arts and design students work with their committee and other artists to develop advanced techniques, expand concepts, discuss critical issues, and emerge with a vision and direction for their work. This exhibition showcases years of dedicated refinement and mastery of skills, ideas, and perspectives.

Lunch & Learn - The Need for Human Connection for Health

USU Be Well and Extension professors, Eva Timothy, Christina Pay and Melanie Dabb, present a lunch and learn on the need for human connection for our health. Join us to gain an understanding of the impacts of social isolation and loneliness. Here you will also gain valuable insights into creating and enhancing feelings of connection while learning about other ways to foster genuine human interactions. *Presentation will be recorded. Attendance and participation in this event qualify as an activity for the Be Well Rewards program.

CIDI Workshop - Grading in Canvas

Grading is the most important thing to get right in Canvas. To help, this workshop covers: * The basic logic of Canvas grading, with assignments and assignment groups. * Using the SpeedGrader and rubrics * Assignment rules and assignment weighting * Showing and hiding grades * Late work policies * Extra credit scenarios * Pushing grades to Banner * Grades from third-party tools and content (Time permitting) * Outcomes (Time permitting)

Full Moon Hike
Recreation
Celebrate the full moon and the last day of classes with Outdoor Programs and their Full Moon Hike on April 23rd! See the beauty of Logan Canyon under the moon's light. Be sure to bring your hiking shoes, water bottle, headlamp, some snacks for the trail and warm clothes for the cooler nighttime temperatures. Cost is $16 for USU students. Register beforehand with link below.
