What is Veterans' Preference?
The Veterans' Preference program has been established to ensure that veterans who apply for open positions with Utah State University will be given the opportunity to interview if they meet the minimum qualifications of the position.

How to apply for Veterans' Preference
Any veteran applicant who is interested in obtaining Veterans' Preference should complete and submit the Veterans' Preference Request Form and a copy of form DD-214 to our Secure Box Folder.
If preferred, The Veterans' Preference Request Form and a copy of form DD-214 may be hand delivered to the Human Resources Department at 1195 E 700 N, Logan, UT 84322 or faxed to 435-797-1816.
If you do not have a copy of your form DD-214
Contact the Utah Department of Veterans Affairs at 801-326-2372 to obtain further instructions for obtaining a copy of DD-214 showing the status of your discharge.
