Students Resources

No matter where you are, USU is here for you.

USU Online puts you at the center of all of our services. And we understand that everyone has different needs. Here is a general progression that highlights resources available to boost your success as a student at the typical times students have needed them. But keep in mind, these are always accessible to you. You are free to utilize these resources whenever you need — even if it’s not in the stage listed.

Admitted Students

You’re in! Congratulations! Now what? Look no farther. Our Admitted Students guide walks you through the first steps, like getting your A-number, setting up your USU email, and applying for FAFSA and scholarships.

Registration Time

Start your online orientation to learn what steps you need to take moving forward in the order they need to be completed, like when you’re able to register for classes, and to learn more about resources available.

During the Semester

You don’t have to wait to start classes to start learning how to be a better student. Check out our Academic Resource Guide so you can master things like time management, finding a tutor, and accessing the USU Libraries.

Connect With Help

Get help from campus partners, like the Veterans Resource Office, the Disability Resource Center, and Academic Success Coaches. Not sure how what classes to take to excel in the career of your dreams? Talk to your advisor (schedule with Exploratory Advising if you haven’t declared a major) or schedule a meeting with the Career Design Center.

Still unsure of who to reach out to? Contact us, and we will connect you to the right resources.
