Resolving Holds

A registration hold prevents you from registering until the hold has been resolved. Before registration opens, log into Banner to check if you have any holds placed on your account. Contact information for the office who placed the hold will be provided for you to clear the hold. Below are the types of holds that may appear.

Financial

In most cases, financial holds can be removed by paying an overdue balance. Pay online or at the Cashier’s Office, TSC room 248.

Advising

Some majors require students to meet with their advisor before registering.

Other

If you encounter a hold other than financial or advising, it can only be removed by the administrative office that placed it.

Register for classes

Pay your tuition and fees

Tuition is due upon registering for classes. You can see how much you owe by logging into TouchNet at anytime.
