UMAC: Trademark Licensing

Report Trademark Licensing Violations

Trademark licensing violations, often referred to as infringement, is any design, name, or slogan that could create confusion among the public due to its similarity to the university’s trademarks.

At Utah State, the revenues generated through the sale of licensed merchandise helps to support the university’s scholarship fund. The university’s trademarks are therefore among the university’s most valuable assets.

All licensed vendors are required to identify their products as “Officially Licensed Collegiate Products” with a hologram label. This label is used to indicate to supporters that they are buying a product of quality and authenticity manufactured in accordance with Utah State University’s standards.
