The Division of Student Affairs aims to create an inclusive environment facilitating a sense of belonging for every student, and encourage a balanced and healthy life through numerous on-campus resources and programs. Student Affairs is central to the Utah State University experience, providing wellness and involvement opportunities, support services and other student resources.

Student Emergency Hardship Fund

Helping students deserving of an education in the time they need it most.

Utah State’s Student Emergency Hardship Fund provides grants to students who face unexpected circumstances that otherwise cause them to drop out of school. Donations help students in a variety of ways, such as affording tuition, moving from their car to an apartment, purchasing groceries, or paying a medical bill.

Students who face hardships apply and undergo an intensive interview process to determine their level of need, the necessary funds needed, and the area of assistance the grant will cover. Funds cover tuition and fees, textbooks, medical and health expenses, living expenses, and groceries.

Thank you for your gift and for helping support our USU students.

Counseling and Psychological Services

The university’s most immediate concerns are student safety and needs, and the overall health and well-being of our student community. With your help, we can provide funding for USU's Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS). CAPS uses this funding to provide telehealth therapy in the form of single session appointments, one-time consultation appointments, and crisis appointments to students when needed. The generosity of the USU community is one of its greatest strengths. We are grateful for your support and wish you and your family the best.

Thank you for your gift.
