GIVE STUDENTS AN OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN, GROW, ACHIEVE, DREAM, AND ACCOMPLISH

It’s no secret that not everyone who starts college finishes when they planned to.  Sometimes life requires a person to pause their education to focus on family, work, or other responsibilities.

The good news is, that life has a way of opening up a path for students to complete what they put on pause. 

We call these students non-traditional. They are students who are pursuing a degree later in their life. Some work full-time. Some are raising children. Some have other responsibilities. No matter what their situation is, all of them have a dream of earning a degree and graduating from college.

As the Associate Vice President of the USU Blanding campus, it is truly a privilege to celebrate those students who, after life interrupted their goals, find a way to come back and complete their education.

Scholarships mean something. They change a person’s life. They give someone an opportunity to learn, grow, achieve, dream, and accomplish.

Your donation will help more students who had to pause their education finish their education and earn their degrees. This support will in turn benefit our community and region.

I want to thank you for your generosity. All students are concerned about how to fund their education, non-traditional students are no exception.
