Women's Lead Climbing Clinic

Lead climbing clinics are back for the fall semester - and this one is for the girls! Learn everything from tying knots to climbing routes with our lead climbing clinic on October 9th from 6-10pm (during women's climb night) at the ARC climbing wall. Register at the wall, $25 clinic fee.
Halo Pick Up

Join us at the Esports Arena for pick up Halo gaming! All skill levels are welcome. Free with an Esports Membership ($35/semester) or just an $8 drop-in pass. Esports Arena is located next to Maverick Stadium.
Fall Break Moab Mountain Biking
Recreation
We are heading down south to hike and bike the world renown desert red rock in the Moab area. We will spend the weekend exploring some of the amazing mountain biking trails while camping near Moab. Participants must be in good physical condition and prepared for moderate to strenuous biking in a desert environment. No prior experience necessary, beginners are most welcome. Participants are encouraged to bring their own mountain bike (in good working condition) or a rental is available from the OP for no additional cost. Sizes and quantities are limited. Trip cost includes sales tax, mountain bike (if needed), food, transportation, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, tent and student leadership.

Pink Out Surge

Join us for our Pink Out Surge event! Not sure what Surge is? It's a HIIT-inspired workout mixed with cardio tracks and strength training that makes for a great workout and fun time. It'll be held in the MAC Gym at the ARC from 6:30-7:30pm. Free with a group fitness pass or just $5 without. Wear your brightest pink for breast cancer awareness!

Rocktober: Halloween Climbing Competition

Our Halloween Climbing Competition (Rocktober) is back!! Signing up is completely free and you can do so at the ARC climbing wall. Heats will start at noon and run every hour, championships will begin at 7pm - everyone is welcome and encouraged to come watch. Costumes are highly encouraged!! Legacy of Val Day of Service: Whittier Community Center Carnival
Special Event
Help us honor the legacy of Val Christensen by assisting at the oldest community Halloween carnival in the valley! We will be in charge of a glow stick dance area at the Whittier Community Center's annual free carnival for kids. Volunteers in the morning can help set up the stage, and volunteers in the afternoon will hand out glow sticks, manage music, and dance with kids as they come and go from the stage. Volunteers are not required to attend the entire Carnival, shifts available in 1hr-3hr blocks. Register through AggiePulse, link provided.

Legacy of Val Day of Service: Planting Day at Wuda Ogwa
Special Event
Join us as we honor the legacy of Val R Christensen and support the Northwestern Band of Shoshone (NWB) in their efforts to restore the ecosystem at Wuda Ogwa (located outside of Preston, ID). We will be planting native plants throughout the property formerly known as the Bear River Massacre Site. Let us know in the registration form if you'd like a spot in our minibus (only 14 spots available). Lunch will be provided by the NWB. We have some work gloves to lend out. Feel free to bring a digging tool (such as a shovel or a hand auger) if you have them. After you register, we will send you one more form to fill out that gives information to the NWB. Turkey Trot 5k

This is a fun run/walk 5k on Friday, November 15th at 4:15pm. Join us with your family and friends as we take you through our beautiful campus! Registration is $10! Students, log-in with your A# to get your discount price of $5. We will have awards for the top three female and male finishers. All participants will receive a shirt and race bib when you register and show up to the race.

Legacy of Val Day of Service: Loaves & Fishes Community Meal
Special Event
Honor the legacy of Val Christensen by pitching in at the Loaves & Fishes Community Meal! Volunteers will be prepping and serving food, bussing tables, washing dishes, and helping set up and take down. Most volunteers are needed on Saturday, but there are a few slots to fill on Friday night for prep. Click the Register button to be taken to the sign up form. Loaves & Fishes is non-denominational, but takes place inside First Presbyterian Church in Logan because there is a commercial kitchen there.
