Biography
Mahdi Nasrullah Al-Ameen obtained PhD in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Arlington, winning “Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award” for his research on the impact of memory cues and user interaction on the usability of secure graphical passwords. Prior to joining USU, Dr. Al-Ameen worked as a Research Scientist at Rochester Institute of Technology, and a Post-doctoral Fellow and Assistant Director of Humans and Technology Laboratory at Clemson University.
Dr. Al-Ameen was awarded the USU Computer Science Faculty Researcher of the Year 2020. He directs an interdisciplinary research group at PIXEL. His research is supported by the National Science Foundations (NSF).
