- Equity & Inclusion in Faculty Recruitment provides best practices in faculty recruitment and hiring to recruit exceptional faculty and ensure that faculty searches serve USU’s mission of diversity, equity and inclusion.
- The USU Inclusion Center provides programming that supports the academic, cultural, and social experiences of students from diverse backgrounds.
- Women & Gender Programs in the Inclusion Center provides a variety of student programs and events. Although programs focus on supporting students who identify as women, events are open to all genders.
- The USU Office of Equity is committed to addressing sexual misconduct and discrimination in all its forms. Visit their site to report an incident.
- Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) provides free and confidential mental health services for undergraduate and graduate students.
- Sexual Assault and Anti-Violence Information (SAAVI) is a campus-based office providing safe, confidential counseling, advocacy, and information to the USU community. SAAVI’s services are open to all USU students, staff, and faculty.
- Scholars for Anti-Racist Fellowship in Education (SAFEatUSU) works to create a safe space in academia for critical anti-racist dialogue and self-reflection.
- The Latinx Cultural Center (LCC) serves as a conduit for service, engagement, advocacy, and visibility for the Latinx community on campus and in Cache Valley and surrounding areas.
- The Interfaith Initiative provides opportunities to engage in meaningful and lasting dialogue across all religious—or lack of religious—identities.
- USU’s Year of the Woman celebrates significant voting rights anniversaries in 2020: the 150th anniversary of suffrage for Utah women; the 100th anniversary of women’s suffrage in the United States; and the 55th anniversary of the Voting Rights Act.
- As a part of the Year of the Woman events, the Voting Rights Symposium commemorates the historic events that gave political rights to women, but also reflects on ongoing struggles for access to the vote.
