Earn Your Engineering Technology Degree

Northrop Grumman (NG) and Utah State University (USU) have come together to provide NG learners the opportunity to earn their bachelor's of engineering technology.

NG employees build on the knowledge and skill sets already acquired at work. Courses will teach concepts, principles, methods, and provide opportunities to develop in-demand skills that they can apply to the job the next day.

  • Computer-aided drafting and design
  • Quality management systems
  • Quality root cause analysis methods
  • Lean manufacturing
  • Electronic systems and programming

Tuition reimbursement is available to all eligible employees. Advisors will provide assistance transferring existing college credit or certificates from other institutions to reduce the amount of credits needed for graduation.

This program will require several math-intensive courses. The ALEKS placement exam will help employees identify where they currently are and which math course(s) they should begin with to ensure they are adequately prepared for the program’s courses.

NG employees are able to start the program any semester. Program preparation helps learners be successful both in the classroom and applying what they learn to the workplace. Download the Getting Started Roadmap, or reach out to the Northrop Grumman's HR office.

Supporting Your Career Momentum

The engineering technology program is completed mostly online, with local and online support and resources. NG learners have access to an interactive group within USU's student platform, MyUSU, to interact and support each other throughout the program. USU's Career Design Center will also work with NG employees to strengthen interview skills to qualify for other positions within the organization.

Northrop Grumman also offers various support to its learners. Employees should reach out to the program manager for more information.
