Undergraduate Program

The Physics Department at USU has a strong tradition of training undergraduate physics majors. If you are exploring physics as a major and possible career, this is the place for you.

The USU Physics Department has, on average, over 100 total physics majors and about 15 graduates per year. We offer 5 bachelor degree tracks that can be tailored to your specific career interests. All of our majors participate in faculty mentored research, gaining valuable experience in our campus research centers and laboratories. We are also home to an active, national award winning chapter of the Society of Physics Students (SPS).
