If Refund Petition is Approved

Approved fees are applied to any unpaid debt on your student account. The remaining refund will be added to your bank account via direct deposit. If you don’t have direct deposit, a check will be mailed to your mailing address on file.

The Petition Review Committee

The committee meets weekly to review all petitions and is made up of delegates from the following offices:

  • Vice President of Student Affairs Office
  • Registrar’s Office
  • Counseling and Psychological Services Center
  • Disability Resource Center
  • Financial Aid Office

Appealing a Denied Petition

You have one opportunity to appeal if your petition is denied. Within five days of receiving the results, you must email the registrar’s office the additional documentation for the committee to review. You must also include a clarifying personal statement to the appeals committee to support your appeal and your claims. The committee will then review your original petition and the appeal to make a final decision.
