USU Course Delivery Options

USU has updated its course delivery options, beginning Summer 2023. Use the resources below to learn more about each option. Choosing the delivery method(s) that work best for you is one of the most important ways you can set yourself up for academic success.

In-person

Classes are held in-person at pre-scheduled meeting times.

Connect

Classes are held in-person at pre-scheduled meeting times with some students connecting virtually from other locations.

Hybrid

Classes combine In-person and Virtual/Online class sessions and activities reducing in-person classroom time.

Online

Students will access learning materials and activities, and engage regularly with the instructor and other students in Canvas.

Virtual

Classes are held virtually via Zoom at pre-scheduled meeting times.

Arranged

Students will be mentored in an arranged location and schedule applicable to their area of study.
