USU is committed to providing an accessible and inclusive experience for all conference participants.

Visitor Parking

The conference will provide a parking validation voucher for the Big Blue Terrace only. The vouchers will only be available for individuals who are not affiliated with USU and do not have a USU parking pass. Attendees can pick up their parking voucher after signing into the conference. Mobility

The most accessible entrance to the Eccles Conference Center is located on the west side of the building. Each room has wheelchair accessible seating areas, and the building is equipped with an elevator. If sitting for a long duration creates physical discomfort, attendees are invited to stand or move around as needed.

Hearing

If you need an American sign language interpreter or transcriber, please indicate this when you register for the conference. Assistive listening devices will be available the registration desk upon request. Keynote presentations in the auditorium will be delivered through the sound system.

Vision

All presenters have been asked to provide electronic versions of any handouts, and these materials will be available upon request.

Gender Identity

Buttons will be provided for conference participants to communicate their pronouns to others if they wish to do so.

Restrooms

There are restrooms on each floor of the Eccles Conference Center. There are also all-gender restrooms throughout the USU campus. The closest all-gender restroom to the conference building is Room 109 in the Geology building. A full list can be found on the campus map (click “all gender restroom” as an option).

Nursing

Room 212 (main floor) will be designated as a nursing room and accessible throughout the day.

Reflection Room

Room 311 (top floor) will be designated as a reflection room and accessible throughout the day for anyone who would like a place for prayer, meditation, or reflection on the conference topics.
