More than 7,100 Degrees to be Awarded at 2026 Utah State University Commencement
LOGAN, Utah — Utah State University will honor the class of 2026 this week at the 139th commencement ceremony. USU is preparing to confer a total of 7,101 degrees and certificates to 6,335 students.
The university commencement ceremony in Logan will begin at 7 p.m. April 29 in the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum. College convocations and hooding ceremonies will begin the morning of April 30 and run through May 1. Tickets for the Logan Campus Commencement and Convocation events are not required and will not be issued.
A schedule of events is available on the USU commencement website. Ceremonies will be broadcast live on Aggie Cast, and photos will be uploaded throughout the day.
Bobby Wagner, USU Athletics Hall of Famer and NFL All-Pro linebacker, will serve as this year’s commencement speaker. Wagner, along with Joyce Albrecht, Stan Albrecht and Ara Serjoie, will receive honorary degrees during the ceremony.
For those traveling to the commencement and convocation ceremonies, please be advised that construction near 600 South on Main Street in Logan may cause traffic disruptions and congestion. If traveling from the south, it is recommended to take an alternate route, including 1000 West if driving into the valley from Wellsville Canyon.
