Venue Operations has employment opportunities throughout the day. We have shifts that start as early as 4:00 am and shifts that go as late as 8:00 pm.
Successful applicants must be available to start as soon as possible. Applicants must not have other variable hour jobs with USU at the time of hire.
All shifts, PT/FT available.
- US Work Authorization required
- Applicants must be 16 or older
- Applicant must be able to lift, stoop, bend and have full range of body mobility.
- Ability to climb ladders, assume uncomfortable positions such as kneeling, crawling, squatting.
- Ability to be exposed to cleaning chemicals.
- Flexible schedule required.
- Applicant must have proficient communication skills.
As an Venue Operations Crew Member, you will work closely with other crew members in helping to manage and complete the daily event related tasks in the Spectrum and Stadium. You must be able to work effectively with little supervision and be highly self-motivated. This job requires that you be present and punctual at all events we provide support for. A very flexible schedule is required as the job does include working nights, weekends and holidays as events dictate.
Compensation: $13/hour
As a member of the Venue Maintenance Crew you will work closely with other crew members to clean and maintain building areas to maximize a healthy, safe, and functional environment. You must be able to work effectively with little supervision and be highly self-motivated. This job requires that you to be present and punctual at your assigned daily shift.
Responsibilities include:
- Cleaning university buildings
- Vacuuming
- Trash removal
- Dusting
- Recycling
- Restroom maintenance
- Light-bulb replacement
- Other duties as assigned
Morning shift: 4:00 am - 8:00 am
Swing shift: 3:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Compensation: $12.50/hour
A valid driver’s license is required. You must be able to lift 50-75 lbs.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide moving services for Utah State University employees and customers
- Help with set up at athletic events
