Clean Up Groups

Post event cleanup is a terrific fundraising opportunity for local groups. These groups service the Maverick Stadium, the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum, and the Wayne Estes Center.  If you are a sports or dance team, scouting troop, youth group, a community or university club, or any other organization, this could be the perfect activity for you!

Registration

To set up your group, complete the Cleanup Group Contact Form and get added to the mailing list so you can receive information about cleanup opportunities. We are happy to offer this opportunity to any group who:

  • Provides at least the minimum number of participants 14 years of age or older
  • Completes the contact form and cleaning agreement below
  • Submits a copy of the group's W-9 tax form (non-university groups) or Index Number (university groups)

Procedures and Expectations

Venue Operations staff members will be on-site to provide instructions. Cleanup will start within 10 minutes of call time, with allowances made for events that run late.  Equipment and supplies will be provided to you unless otherwise specified.

We expect Cleanup Groups to arrive to their cleanup on time, to carry out cleaning instructions as explained, and to be respectful toward University guests and staff. Groups which do not meet these expectations, or which deliver poor quality work may be dismissed and/or not invited back in the future.

Group Leaders

If your name appears on the contact form, you are the designated group leader.  Group Leaders are responsible for ensuring all documentation is submitted, and are expected to be present at the cleanup.  If you are unable to attend, please notify Venue Operations 48 hours beforehand.
