The Youth Conservatory Young Composer Contest is open to all students in the YC. To apply, students must submit a manuscript of their composition and an mp3 file audio recording or YouTube link of their piece. The composition may be written for any instrument(s), and there are no length requirements or limitations on style. Contests will be recognized at Youth Conservatory Graduation, all participants will receive written feedback from renowned composer and USU piano faculty member Dr. Kevin Olson and a prize.
