Internship Program Admissions

Our training helps interns become prepared as a well-rounded generalist for careers in university counseling centers or similar settings. We have eight major training areas: individual therapy, group therapy, assessment, outreach/consultation, supervision, diversity, ethics, and professional development.

  1. A minimum of 450 intervention hours must include at least 150 hours for individual therapy with adults by the application deadline.
  2. Comprehensive exams passed by the application deadline.
  3. Dissertation proposal by the start of internship.
  4. An ability to pass a criminal background check.
