Center for Empowering Teaching Excellence Committees
The Center of Empowering Teaching Excellence sponsors programming including the annual ETE Conference, Seminar Series, Foundations of USU Teaching, eLearnX, Learning Circles, the Journal on Empowering Teaching Excellence, and the ETE Professional Development Pathway program. These events and programs are organized and supported by committees of faculty, staff, and student representatives who give their insights, ideas, and support to provide needed programming. Committee participation is done through request.
Faculty Committee
The ETE Faculty Committee was created to facilitate the primary goal of the Center for Empowering Teaching Excellence (ETE), which is to “elevate and promote a culture of teaching excellence” at Utah State University. The ETE Faculty Committee are trusted members of the ETE team, chosen to serve on the committee to help improve the instructor development program at USU continuously. The ETE Faculty Committee is a volunteer committee that assists ETE in running its instructor development programming. While ETE conducts the daily responsibilities of the department, the ETE Faculty Committee is designed to give feedback, make suggestions, and help implement the larger projects that ETE takes on.

Subcommittees
ETE Subcommittees exist to help distribute the responsibilities of ETE into manageable and sensible segments. ETE has five subcommittees whose responsibilities range from planning events to creating new programming to promoting publications. The composition of each subcommittee varies as subcommittees include more than just ETE Faculty Committee members; however, the Chair of each ETE subcommittee must be a member of the ETE Faculty Committee. The subcommittees are:
- Explore College Teaching
