Science Week: Dogs, Donuts & Don't Stress!

Student Activities

Drop by the TSC to relax with therapy animals, while enjoying donuts, hot chocolate and coffee. Join in a soul-renewing yoga session (no experience necessary!) and visit booths with information about campus and community resources, opportunities and activities highlighting health, wellness and student advocacy. The College of Science’s signature student research presentation event is BACK! Participants have four minutes and four slides to present their BIG IDEA. USU undergraduates and graduate students of all majors are invited to participate in this fun, fast-paced activity before an enthusiastic, supportive audience. Prizes will be awarded to the top three participants, judged by on-campus professors. Refreshments will be served and all are welcome. Want to apply to participate in Rapid Fire Research? Science Week: Pizza with Professors

Student Activities

Join with fellow Aggie scholars to hear from a panel of College of Science faculty members about their unique research efforts. Faculty members from each of the college’s six departments will offer 5-10 minute presentations describing their research, and the ways students are involved in these endeavors. Afterwards, enjoy free pizza and opportunities to mingle with professors and student researchers.

Science Unwrapped: Radioactivity

Special Event | Science Unwrapped

Inquiring minds of all ages are invited to Science Unwrapped, the free, public outreach program of USU's College of Science. Featured speaker is USU physicist Tonya Triplett, who presents, "Radioactivity: What's Wrong with *That* Nucleus?," as part of our "Building on Basics" series. Refreshments and hands-on learning activities follow the talk.
