All Aggies are invited to join in some Halloween-themed games, including board games, card games and video games.  Get cozy, enjoy some snacks, along with some brain-energizing fun.

Get your creative juices flowing with various art activities hosted by different departments and student clubs within the College of Science. Activities will include spooky watercolors, thrifted ghost paintings, digital glitch art and more. All are welcome!

Drop by the TSC to relax with therapy animals, while enjoying donuts, hot chocolate and coffee. (Please bring your own mug to reduce waste.) Join in a soul-renewing yoga session (no experience necessary!) and visit booths with information about campus and community resources, opportunities and activities highlighting health, wellness and student advocacy. You Matter.

The College of Science’s signature student research presentation event is BACK! Participants have four minutes and four slides to present their BIG IDEA. USU undergraduates and graduate students of all majors are invited to participate in this fun, fast-paced activity before an enthusiastic, supportive audience. Prizes will be awarded to the top three participants, judged by on-campus professors. Refreshments will be served and all are welcome.

Join with fellow scholars to hear from a panel of College of Science faculty members about their unique research efforts. Faculty members from each of the college’s six departments will offer 5-10 minute presentations describing their research, and the ways students are involved in these endeavors. Afterwards, enjoy free pizza and opportunities to mingle with professors and student researchers.

4:30 - 6 pm

Many of us are afraid of radioactivity, but can’t explain why. USU chemist Scott Ensign will allay our fears by describing what radioactivity is, why it’s important to our lives, and how we can separate fear from caution-based knowledge when considering this vital form of energy emissions.

7 - 8:30 pm

Everyone is invited to view the night sky from USU Physics’ observatory telescope, located on the roof of the SER Building. Important Note: Please check the observatory website prior to arrival, as the gathering will be cancelled in the event of cloudy or inclement weather.
