Grace Hanni is from heatland, Wyoming. Her Father is an active duty service member! He served in the Army Band for 8 years, and is now the Supply Sergeant for the Wyoming National Guard Band. She shared these thoughts on the personal impacts that his service has meant to her.

What is the most positive/useful life lesson you learned from being a military child?
Change can be really hard but can also bring so many lessons and blessings.

How has the VRO improved your experience at USU and/or helped you as a student?
The VRO has helped me so much in just being a safe place to hangout or do homework. There are always nice people there who have some of the same situations in life that I have. I have been able to receive and use some of my dads benefits through the VRO, and they have helped me navigate that.

This is a great city and school! There is always something fun to do. I love the spirit and passion that everyone has towards USU, and the programs and professors are great.
