The Impact Art Exhibition, Sustainability Awards, Earth Week, and Bike to Breakfast are just some of the annual events at USU for students, staff, and faculty to get involved in the action.
Impact Art Exhibition 2024: Crossings
April 15th - 20th, 2024 | NEHMA Cafe Space and Object Study Area
An opening reception on April 15th from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm. The reception will include an invited appetizer hour, followed by an open-to-the-public annoucement of winners and runner ups. The exhibition will be juried and prizes will be awarded. Students will recieve an email by April 12th indicating whether or not their work was accepted. Work not accepted to the exhibition should be picked up on April 12th at 5pm.
Artwork Submissions
Theme: Crossings
We invite students to be a part of the change and create or submit works of art that explore pathways leading to a sustainable future. Students do not have to be an art major to submit work, and can submit up to three pieces of any medium for display.
Due: April 11, 5:00pm
Art Drop-off Location: CCA Art + Design Office (FAV 122)
Digital work: printing instructions must be provided with your submission.

Sustainability Awards Nomination

The annual Utah State University Sustainability Awards are an opportunity to recognize Aggies committed to excellence in sustainability on campus and off. These awards honor students, faculty, and staff across our campuses who have prioritized sustainability efforts in their work, learning, activism, advocacy, and research.
- Sustainability Educator of the Year: a faculty member who made exemplary contributions to the education of students through sustainability-related education and teaching.
- Sustainability Advocate of the Year: recognizes a student, staff, or faculty advocate for sustainability, on campus and off.
- Sustainability Innovator of the Year: recognizes a student, staff, or faculty member who brought ideas, actions, or programs to the table that supported USU's community-wide sustainable efforts.
- Sustainability Student Leader of the Year: a current student or student group that has provided exemplary leadership in sustainablility work, on campus and off.
- Sustainability Researcher/ Research Project of the Year: a project team, individual researcher, or project that has elevated sustainability at the local, state, national, or global scale, and/or has provided solutions to a sustainability problem.
