Accessibility Crew Member Application

Position Information
UCC Accessibilty Crews are mixed-ability crews that seek to foster an environment where people with disabilities have opportunities to participate in environmental conservation efforts in a welcoming, inclusive space. Accessibility crews are welcoming to people of all abilities. These crews will be collecting and inputting accessibility data and photos of developed recreation sites on the Payette, Boise, Salmon-Challis and part of the Caribou-Targhee National Forests in Idaho. Crew members will have the opportunity to work with the US Forest Service and others people of all abilities as a team.

The crew will travel to project sites throughout these forests and camping for 3-5 days at a time. The crew will return to Logan, Utah each weekend.

Position Description - Accessibility Crew Member

*Are You A U.S Citizen, National, Or Lawful Permanent Resident Alien?
*Are You A Member Of The US Armed Forces?
*Have You Ever Been Convicted Of A Felony Or Do You Have Charges Pending?
*Highest Level Of Education Completed
*Are you over the age of 18?Or will you be 18 by the beginning of the term of service?
*Have You Been Enrolled In Another Conservation Corps?

Are you able to fulfill the following essential functions and requirements of the position?

*Use various measurement tools to collect data in outdoor settings?
*Function independently in campgrounds and other outdoor public facilities? 
*Camp for up to 5 nights in a row? 
*Work for up to 10 hours per day, mostly in an outdoor setting?
*Accurately record and enter data using IPADs, cameras, and computers?
*Provide personal care during the workday and at camp? 
*Work successfully with others as part of a small crew? 
*Ability to provide personal transportation to/from the Logan Field Office?
