As the largest employer on-campus, we offer many different career directions. Anything from culinary art to administrative, start early and grow with Dining Services! Browse through our different locations you could be placed at - then apply by sending in your resume, hours desired to work, and schedule/availability on Aggie Handshake for USU affiliates or ICIMS for non USU affiliates. We will get you placed in one of the operations below! (You don't have to be a student or affiliated with USU to apply, anyone can! Apply through the ICIMS link if you are not affiliated with USU)

Looking for a rewarding summer job? Look no further! Dining is currently hiring for summer, pay starting at $11 with the opportunity of a $1 per hour end-of-summer bonus for eligible employees. And free meals! Positions range from prep cooks and bakers to cashiers and baristas.

The HUB

The only food court on USU campus, located in the Taggart Student Center (TSC) on the 1st floor. We currently are hiring for Caffe Ibis, Subway, TacoTime, The Sushi Bar and Scotsman's Corner.

Beth's Bistro

At Beth's Bistro we focus on made-to-order food, breakfast and lunch. Enjoy a fast-paced work environment with many regular customers and a fun community to work with!

The Forum Cafe

Join our thriving community at The Forum Cafe, nestled in the heart of campus, in the library. With a focus on customizable salads and sandwiches, we invite you to be part of our seasoned team in crafting fresh, made-to-order creations while enjoying the vibrant ambiance and dynamic spirit of our establishment!

The Junction

Working in the Junction is a great way to meet diverse people and make friends while earning money.
Perks include, but are not limited to, a flexible schedule, convenient location, and the opportunity to work alongside some of the valley’s most talented chefs. Duties include serving food, some food preparation, great customer service, cleaning & sanitizing, operation of the dish machine, & cashiering.

The Marketplace

Working here is the best! Great environment, awesome employees and central location to classes & on-campus activities plus you'll have your Sunday's off! In addition, you get to work under highly experienced executive chef's and learn their techniques as well as how the industry works. Working here entails: running the register, working in the dish room, preparing & serving food to students, staff and everyone in between. Schedules are flexible, and you'll meet life-long friends.

University Catering

University Catering creates and serves at events for a wide array of groups in Cache Valley with a major emphasis on the campus community. Events happen at all times of the day and can range from weddings to conferences, staff meetings to Presidential inaugurations, and summer cookouts to Christmas parties.

We have great opportunities for advancement and developing real skills.

The Bakery at USU

As a baker for the USU Bakery you will gain experience in all types of pastries, breads, you name it. You will be able to work alongside our talented pastry chefs and learn how the industry works. The USU Bakery provides fresh baked goods every morning - to all of campus, including catering! Join the team that brings the goods!

Luke's Family Cafe on the Quad

At Luke's Cafe, we specialize in fresh and wholesome options, serving up delicious smoothies, nourishing smoothie bowls, and flavorful wraps. Join our team in a vibrant atmosphere where you'll craft made-to-order delights for our customers. Enjoy a centrally located workplace, right by the Quad, and a friendly community of coworkers!

Shaw's 88

Provide an excellent college experience to all our guests by ensuring a fun and personal atmosphere at Shaw's 88. Cashiering is a large part of the job, but you will also need to prepare food as necessary. You will need to make sure that all products are stocked and organized to ensure an excellent experience. Daily and weekly cleaning of the operations are expected. Shaw's 88 is open Monday-Friday.

Concessions

Provide quality food service at USU Athletics events, as well as some non-Athletics events.

Concessions employees will be responsible for: Setting up, operating, and cleaning concessions stands, lifting and moving food products, following and ensuring proper cash-handling procedures, providing excellent service to customers, and overseeing volunteer concessions stand staff

We also offer growth opportunities into supervisor roles.

The Depot

Conveniently located right inside the Junction in Central Campus, the Depot is a one-stop shop for residents on campus to get snacks and basic essentials. Employees get to meet a variety of students and build relationships with their regular customers. Perks include, but are not limited to, a flexible schedule, and convenient location. Duties include stocking, great customer service, and light cleaning.

USU Dining Warehouse

Come work in a fast pace, fun and rewarding environment. You are in control of the movement and placement of all inventories being received to fulfill the needs of all Dining Services. The day-to-day operations include the following highlights: Receive and properly store inventory, process orders and prepare them for delivery to the various operations, load trucks and deliver orders to the various operations, and interact and build relationships with others across all Dining Services!

Steeped

Are you a fan of the cafe scene & have thought about working for one? Well, Steeped could be for you! Steeped is one of the many cafes on campus that caters to curb your coffee desires.A new addition to Steeped is that we are now "Proudly Serving Starbucks". Working for us entails: working the register, barista training and serving the USU community.

Noni's

Join our small crew working as a cashier and/or barista. Must be able to work autonomously and by yourself. Located right next to NEHMA, serving salads and specialty beverages.

The Quickstop
