Permits Through Payroll Deduction
Full-time and benefits-eligible staff and faculty may choose to purchase a parking permit through pre-tax payroll deduction. The annual permit cost is divided into 12 payments, is deducted from your payroll check, and automatically renews each year unless you contact us to cancel your permit, make certain job changes, or leave the university.
Permits Without Payroll Deduction
Faculty and Staff may purchase annual permits without using payroll deduction. These permits typically expire on March 15th and do not automatically renew.
Waitlists and Parking Assignments
New faculty and staff members are eligible for permits in our Green parking areas (see Faculty & Staff Parking Map). Faculty/Staff that wish to park in other lots on campus must submit a Waitlist Request (part-time employees and students are not eligible for the waitlist). Waitlist awards are based on the adjusted service date (hire date) provided to Parking by Human Resources. Permits for waitlisted parking lots will be issued several times a year based on availability.
Vice Presidents and Deans may be eligible for an X permit upon hire, with approval from the Director of Parking and Transportation. X permits must be returned to the Parking Office upon termination or a change in job assignment.
