GEAR UP Seniors Celebrate College Signing Day
We have much to celebrate this year. With over 800 seniors graduating from five partner schools in Utah, the future looks bright. We are proud of all our students. While in our program, they have toured college campuses, learned about careers, applied to FAFSA and scholarships, attended GEAR UP events, and have become leaders in their schools.

Many of this year’s graduating seniors from USU STARS! grant two started with GEAR UP as middle school students in 2015. Along the way, they have received academic tutoring, attended educational field trips and career mentoring, and joined their peers at summer camps and other programs held on college campuses. Many of these students have challenged themselves to take rigorous courses and are entering the coming year with college credits and scholarships, as well as financial assistance from filling out the FAFSA.

Thank you to our GEAR UP staff! We want to recognize the hard work and enthusiasm of site coordinators, counselors, and office staff at each of our schools for making the most of a challenging year. You have made a big difference in students' lives, especially those that will be the first in their families to go to college, and we appreciate all that you have done for them.
GEAR UP hopes to continue supporting this year's graduating seniors during their first year of college. During that time, students will have access to free resources including our dedicated GEAR UP college advisors, tutor.com for 24/7 support, software licensing from Texas Instruments, and access to a Student Success Agency Agent for one-on-one counseling through text.
