Course Management

Teaching a course is not just delivering lecture content. A course instructor is also responsible for course communication, developing policies and procedures, fielding student questions, and adapting to emergency situations. Some instructors are additionally burdened with overseeing high-enrollment classes, managing labs and recitations, or addressing disruptive behavior

It can feel daunting to balance these tasks while also delivering content and lectures. The management of the course can often take more time than the development. However, with strong organization and a bit of upfront time investment, the majority of courses can be managed comfortably.
