Accessing Your Zoom Recordings

After you have recorded your lecture in Zoom, you can access them through Canvas or through the https://zoom.usu.edu website.

Accessing Zoom Through Canvas

If you started your meeting through Canvas and saved the recording through the Cloud, find your recording by going into the Zoom tab in your Canvas course and selecting the Cloud Recordings tab. This is where both you and your students will access the videos. The recordings can also be found in My Media.

Accessing Zoom Through the Website

If you selected the option to record your meeting through the Cloud, find your recording at zoom.usu.edu. Sign in and select the Recordings tab on the left-hand side to view all of your videos. Listed to the right of each video are options to download the file or share the video via a link.

Note: Recording links from the Zoom website and the Canvas integration only remain active for 180 days. These recordings are backed up in My Media. You can choose to access the recordings from there as well.
Recordings remain in My Media for four years, and that time refreshes itself each time the video is touched.
